Why do you charge a non-refundable deposit?

Last-minute cancellations or changes can be detrimental to a small photography business. The non-refundable deposit helps offset the risk of such occurrences and provides some financial security to the photographer.

If a client cancels without sufficient notice, the photographer may not be able to fill that time slot with another paying customer, resulting in lost income. The non-refundable deposit helps protect the photographer's income in such situations.

Where is the best place to get prints?

Overall, buying prints from a professional photographer not only ensures the highest quality and authenticity but also allows you to directly support the artist and enjoy a personalized and customized experience tailored to your preferences. Do you do gift certificates?

Yes, we do! Gift certificates can be purchased by calling 910-496-5109 or emailing our staff at staff@kccphotography.net (Gift certificates expire in 365 calendar days from the purchase date.)

Do you do inside studio work?

As a whole we do not offer studio work any longer. People generally do not want the studio setting because it can limit creativity, outcome, and variety. Occasionally we offer studio mini sessions.

What type of photography do you specialize in?

We specialize in all types of photography! We do weddings, senior pics, children photography, family photography, commercial photography, professional headshots, all types of events and more!

Can I bring pets or props to the photoshoot?

Absolutely! We will try our best to incorporate your pets and props into your photos with your collaboration.

What rights do I have to the photos after the session?

You do receive print rights with our photography packages. However the prints can not be redistributed, sold or used for commercial usage without proper licensing.

Do you offer both digital files and prints?

Yes we do offer both digital and prints! Our standard sessions come with 12 digital images delivered to you online. Prints can be ordered with working with our staff to ensure that we accurately quote, and deliver them to you.

How long will it take to receive my photos?

Generally after your session concludes you will have an online gallery back within 24 hours. Some restrictions apply. We process them quickly and can normally turn them over within 72 Business hours. (Check clearing, and credit card holds can prolong this process)

How far in advance should I book a session?

This question can be a bit tricky as seasonal photography is very fluid. Normally it is safe to book 21-30 days out to get a preferred time slot. However weekends, holidays and peak season can be harder to predict as they are limited in nature. Call today to get a time quote. 910-496-5109

Do you offer retouching or editing services?

Yes we do! Every photo we deliver has been soft retouched. We do color corrections, contrast and exposure adjustments, straightening, and sharpening for prints. However we do have editing services that includes skin retouching, background adjustments and changes, and digital composites.
