What does the non-refundable deposit cover?

If your session needs to be rescheduled within 2 hours prior to the start of your scheduled session time due to inclement weather, we will reschedule your session with no rescheduling fee. Inside sessions (including on site shoots and studio work) does not qualify for weather reschedule. Sessions MUST be rescheduled within 72 hours of the original session date and time. If not, the deposit will be forfeited.

Sessions rescheduled for unforeseen events (illness, car accident, death in the family, etc..) must be rescheduled within 72 hours and require a $75 deposit to hold second date (All deposits paid will come out of the total session fee (sessions can not be rescheduled a third time without forfieting the original deposit.)

Reschedule on outdoor sessions without weather interference or emergency will forfeit deposit. A new deposit of $75 will be required to reschedule your session.

Your session is set at a time given to ensure correct lighting conditions. We ask that you be prompt in your arrival to ensure we have adequate time.

Reschedule fees for indoor shoots/on site shoots is $99, this includes travel fees (gas and time) for no show. This must be paid before session is rescheduled.

Commercial NO-SHOWS with no rescheduling will forfeit 1/3rd of deposit or $135, whichever is greater

Headshot sessions must be rescheduled at a minimum of 4 hours before the scheduled appointment time to prevent forfeiting deposit. Please call, text 910-496-5109 or email staff@kccphotography.net if a reschedule is necessary. We allow one reschedule for headshot sessions. No exceptions. Reschedule fee of $35 maybe added if reschedule is requested inside the 4 hour window.

Inclement Weather will be rescheduled for free. (Precipitation) We do monitor weather for changes and may make a call within 90 minutes of session.

If no session deposit was collected before the session due to short time frame the fee will be added to the session fee.

Gift certificates hold the same principles. The deposit fee will come out of the total gift cirtificate with client rescheduling or missing the session date after it has been agreed upon.

Some exceptions apply at the photographers digression.

It allows us to dedicate the necessary time and attention to prepare for your session, including scouting locations, coordinating equipment, and organizing any additional resources required to deliver outstanding results.

Additionally, the non-refundable nature of the deposit ensures that both parties are equally invested in the success of the photography session. It encourages clients to honor their commitment and show up for the scheduled appointment, while also protecting our business from potential cancellations that could result in lost revenue.

While the deposit is non-refundable, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. In such cases, we are happy to work with our clients to reschedule their session whenever possible, provided that sufficient notice is given.
